I use Bone Broth as the 'next day' treatment. Cannot say enough. I often struggle to get back to solid food after an attack. Not only the Fear of Relapse, but also, lack of appetite and sooo many triggers. It's hard to come back. I used chicken soup, real homemade chicken soup. Then I found Bone broths. These are healing brews of boiled bones. Filled with all kinds of good minerals, and all of the things that we lose, and more. Bone broths are claimed to heal some GI problems. I make no claims. Check for yourself.

I still have regular episodes, but bone broths of chicken or beef make me healthier in-between, and Really help me recover much faster than without.

Google it... try it. Roast a chicken, carve it up. Save the bones. Boil them for hours and hours. Remove/strain bones, add your favorite vegetables. I use celery, onion, carrots. Thrown the chicken back in and cook the veggies. Chicken soup in particular has significant healing power. There are studies.

Use beef bone broth for a very good vegetable consume. The health benefits are extraordinary.

The idea is to be as healthy as we possibly can, considering the syndrome, the drugs, the stress etc.

John,

I'm glad you found something that helps you bounce back. I have heard of the bone broth several times, but no one has ever commented on it for CVS..

it's very hard for me to bounce back at times too. I'm always afraid of triggering a relapse. The only thing about this is I don't have the energy to cook this...at least not right after an episode. maybe a day or 2 I would, but I'm going to try. right now...I just had a pretty severe episode that only lasted about 16 hours and I am very weak and tired.

The best part is that it freezes well. When you feel better, you can make a bunch and it will be there when you need it. I pray it helps you as much as it helps me.

God Bless,
John
