Hello All, do any of you know if the CVSA plans to start any clinical trials anytime soon? In Milwaukee or anywhere else??

So CVSA does not hold clinical trials. They will publish ones that we are notified about or part of funding the research on. Dr. Kovacic is starting the auricular stimulator studies. But we do not have a start date. There have been two people that have tried it so far.

Most of the research and studies are tied to the medical advisors. There are pharmaceutical companies looking to trial things with them. That could be a bit out as well. We would be involved with those. Best ways to be involved or notified of these is to be a patient of one if the advisors.
Do you see one of them now?

No, I live in Florida. But I just submitted a request online for an appointment with Dr. Kovacic. We will fly to Milwaukee to see her if we can get in within a reasonable time frame. My daughter is 17 and will be 18 in September, so I'm not sure how that will work if she turns 18 before we can get an appointment with her.

Pedi age varies from state to state as does an MDs ability to accept a younger patient into an adult practice.  Along with age parameters are already being a known patient esp in a pedi program.  For example my 22 or 23 year old was able to get into a CVS program at a Children's Hospital because she had an established pedi history with that hospital.  Fortunately the CVA MD then prepared an adult GI in a close by adult program to treat CVS.

Smoke Eater was,I think, the first patient treated by this adult GI and for many years he has been very happy with her treatment.
