Does anyone have experience with Dr. Levinthal?  Our 19 year old just received diagnosis of potential CVS, much easier for us to drive to Pittsburg than fly to Wisconsin.   Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know that name but the CVSA office might have him/her on their list of doctors.  You can reach the office at CVSA@cvsaonline.org

You might research his/her name for publications.  He could have participated in research on CVS.

Most doctors ---those willing to listen, research, and learn-- can handle CVS patients.  Many are not going to respect the suggested higher-than-the-norm dosages of medications that are thought to be needed to stop a cycle.  Getting in touch with a CVSA medical advisor can help another doctor to understand the dosing.

Good luck with this new doctor and please let us know how things go.

Dr. Levinthal was just added to the list of medical advisors for CVSA. There was an article in the Code V newsletter that was printed last. I have recently met him and would highly recommend seeing him.
