So people have asked where you can get the Vomit bags like the ER has.. (FYI Amazon)
We also have found bags that turn the emesis into gel. (also on Amazon)  Please remember to use Amazon Smile when shopping Amazon and choose CVSA as your Charity of choice.

But I thought a Wacky topic for today.. that would be fun.. would be.. what have you thrown up in, or used to hide your throw up?

We went to the movies and asked for an empty popcorn bucket when we purchased a bucket.. one for snacks and one to give back [smile]

My son has thrown up in my purse.. (had a ziploc in it) but no one knew that [smile] We always carry a spare ziploc!

I remember another thread on this.  It was interesting.  We requested that the CVSA hotels sponsored for the bi annual meetings have larger than normal buckets for ice or trash.  After the meeting around 4 or so years ago, one of our members said she filled up several ice buckets.

Trying to think back for us and all I can come up with is glass mixing bowls.  Not the best to be carrying around a glass bowl and be on a gurney.  We laughed at the old plastic emesis basins in the hospital but we also collected a bunch to store at home.

Zip lock bags were mentioned in the past.  Larger bags, not the snack size [smile]

We are full supporters of the gallon bag movement [smile] We stock up when Ziploc are on coupon at Costco [smile]

I miss the pink Basins.. you know you don't get them at hospitals anymore.. and those blue bags hold nothing.. Just like the kidney shaped bins. I laugh when they had us those. My son threw up in the lobby one time when they first got those bags.. and the force of it blew out the bottom of the bag.. So people that can use them.. I salute you! We can't.

We have so many of those pink bins.. I have one grey one.. and My son prefers the grey.. because.. HELLO.. pink is for girls. Good point.

Ziplock bags and more ziplock bags. Carry them everywhere. Even my children carry them for me. I should have bought stock in company long ago. [smile]
