Reply with quote | #1 | The time is getting closer for the goal of collecting recipes for the First CVSA Cookbook!
I hope everyone can help by submitting recipes. We can submit recipes here on the message board or send them to CVSA (cvsa@cvsaonline.org).
The plan is for a fundraiser cookbook, a handsome, artfully created book that appeals to all, even those without CVS.The book will be a keepsake book for our CVSA family, 8.5 X 5.5" spiral bound book with full color cover. We would really like to have the recipes coming in steady through the end of August.
It would be great to have the recipe name and some information about it-- is this a recipe for sick times, from your grandmother, a variation on an old recipe? Be sure to sign your name and association to CVS would be wonderful.
Of course there will be a section called Emesis Island for hints and suggestions for those sick and tough times.
We hope to have recipes submitted from many sources in addition to the message board members.
This is a fabulous chance to help CVSA with a fundraiser as well as gather some hints from others on what works during well and sick times.
Lets get those recipes in! Takes just a few minutes and what a fun project!!!!

Reply with quote | #2 | We already have a great new recipe, thank you Trice.
I can send the recipes posted here to the CVSA office, no problem for me. We just want to get the book completed and the goal is for the end of August.
If anyone submitted recipes a long time ago please do not be shy about sending in more recipes! The more the better.

Reply with quote | #3 | Update! Recipes should be submitted before August 31. We hope to print in September and have the book ready for October. Great idea for a holiday gift.
Please help CVSA by posting or submitting your recipes. And as always, thank you for your help. __________________ ginny
