Do seasonal allergies affect your CVS?

Since my son can also be triggered by colds and flus he is also set off by seasonal allergies. Do you or your CVSer struggle with this? How do you compensate for this?

Let's talk!

I don't recall seasonal allergies factoring in for my CVSer. She did not seem to be better or worse during any particular season.  She does have allergies.

For me, I have learned that although like most I am allergic to mold/mildew, my voice changes after being exposed for a few minutes. No itchy eye, no runny nose, no breathing trouble.  Just a raspy voice.

I think for Jacen it’s the extra phlegm. Itchy throat.. all things that can trigger his gag reflex. The phlegm is texture that can set him off. The itchy irritated throat is about the sensation of the nose hose (feeding tube). It combines to be a bit more of a struggle than he would typically have and has been known to set his CVS in motion.
