About a month ago I returned to my doctor after having two really bad episodes. They ran some standard bloodwork, which came back with elevated lipase and amylase. They repeated the lipase two days later, and it was lower but still slightly elevated. My doctor ordered an ultrasound which came back okay. At the time of the bloodwork, it had been at least three weeks since my last episode, so I was not experiencing symptoms at that time.

This is the only thing that’s ever shown up on any tests I’ve had.

Others have reported elevated pancreatic enzymes that have been attributed to a cycle.  I hope your doctor keeps following up as a precaution.  Sometimes a gallstone can be lodged in a duct and this might lead to an inflamed pancreas.  Let us know how you are doing?  Hope you are fine.

I agree with Ginny that you should be watching them. The ultrasound can miss stones and blockages. Something to keep an eye one.
