Hi all my fellow pukers, I know its been awhile since I have been on, been following a lot of talk on FB easier to get too, My CVS has been WICKED since Dec of last year, Attacks ( YUP I still won't call them cycles, a guy thing ) have been everyday to every other day, mostly everyday, CVS Sucks for sure, not sure how I'd handle them with out Rocky my ESA Service Dog, he hasn't been able to stop these, like he did before Dec BUT he sure makes CVS more bare able, I know I am sure tired of puking, not quite sure why my attacks have been so much  BUT as I found from FB mot of the a lot of the CVSers world wide have been having more, I sure hope this trend ends quick, never thought I'd say I miss my once a week attacks, ok that's it for me.
Remember Puke with Pride,, For We are The Few,, The Proud,,

Hello, Smoke. I just posted a hello to your wife, came back to the main page, and there you were! Thought I'd say hello to you, too. I am mom to an 18 year old CVS sufferer. I only post here as I don't have a Facebook page; just not my thing.

Anyway, I am fascinated that you have a service dog for CVS!! That is great. I am curious, though, how does your dog stop an attack? Do you mind if I ask that? What sorts of things does your dog do for you? (I am a huge dog lover and I've always loved watching service dogs on TV, etc, and seeing them in stores. They are wonderful). I hope you don't mind my asking. [smile]

So sorry to hear you have had a rough time lately. I do love your sense of humor, though. You might like my short story about the time I went out to buy my son a few tee shirts one day. I came home with them, and he was lying on his bed. I had two shirts, one of them being the name brand Hurley; the other was Under armour. I was excited to show him the shirts, and he gave me a blank stare as I held up one with the words "Hurley" written across the front in large, blue letters. I asked what was wrong and glanced at the shirt and back at him. He just kept staring, half grinning. I finally got the joke. He loves the shirt and thinks it's hilarious, if there can ever be anything funny about CVS. My son is such a character and he makes me laugh all the time. Yes, even about CVS sometimes. [smile]

Hi ya Star yea Rocky is GREAT, for CVSA Rocky I my ESA (Emotional Support Animal , BUT I am Also a 100& Disabled Veteran, I have some wounds from Vietnam that has come back to haunt me since I got old I was in the Army as a Airborne Ranger-Sniper, I recovered from those and wa able to rejoin the service only I went USAF as a Firefighter-Para-rescue man, I joined that because I never wanted to have to take another life and to do my best to save lives, but that job ended in my 6th year when I was fighting a fire and went through the floor into the fire so I was Medically Retired and Rocky is my Service Dog for those, Before this everyday attacks started, just loving on him & having him to talk to instead of always venting on my wife just HELPED and I have no idea how BUT he did stop ALOT of attacks, I was once a week before I got him, after , I went to every other week to 2 weeks without one, in 22 years I have never done that and I never thought I'd say it BUT I sure miss my once a week, even Rocky hasn't been able to top these BUT he makes them ALOT easier to deal with, when they hit at 3 or 4 in the am , I don't need to bother her , I have him to help me, my CVS tends to be very violent , and yea I LOVE THAT T-shirt that be AWESOME to have, would love to show up at the ER wearing that one HAWWW that be GREAT, Rocky, my meds and Humor is my first line of defence against CVS, if you can't poke fun at it , it WILL get you, sorry this is so long, But I wanted to make sure I answered your question right,  Tell your son Puke with Pride, we are The Few ,The Proud,The Pukers for me and Heave hooo and a ^5 for me
Heave hoooooo Star

First of all, you're wrong. I know you are amazing, and I don't even know you.

Second, I have never seen such a sweet picture...ever. I am so glad you have that dog in your life. I am sure he helps you tremendously. And you have helped him by giving him such a great home and such a great purpose! He is absolutely beautiful and thank you so much for posting him for me!

I have a little chihuahua that is the joy of my life. He rescued himself by jumping in my car one day after I stopped to get him out of the street. He's a good dog, not yippy and mean like some chihuahuas can be. [smile]

I certainly can tell you both love each other a lot and I am sure you have not spoiled him one bit!!
